Mel's F1 Grandstand experience!

had a chance of a lifetime thanks to my client who gave me a granstand ticket to watch the Formula at Sepang! was so thankful to God too as the weather was SUPERBLY good! no sun no rain and the rain only came when we got back into the bus!! all the scary stories of getting sun burnt, super hot in F1, never had to experience! Because i decided to go, God has to changed the weather for me! hehe

mum had cravings for the salted egg crab and also cos hiang cheh and san san managed to sneak out one night from her in-law's place to spend the night with us, so we went all the way to desa aman puri for some super yummy crabs!

yes yes! my best friend Sally finally gave birth to a beautiful and healthy daughter! born 3rd march 2006! i was sooo excited with her delivery! its just so different this time with sally. i mean i've many friends giving birth and all but this one is just so.. oh my gosh! my very own peers being a mum! really excited!

went for seafood dinner at aman puri with lena, hoisan, wooikeat, marcus and chiew teck. not bad.. but somehow no kick... cos i think not enough crab!! dont know why got some new stupid CRAP crab rulling!! can only order 1kg and ONE type of crap!! What CRAP CRAB rule is that!!! grrr... dont think i wanna go back again if they still have the crap crab rule. but on the good side.. after i threaten to go to the next shop, the lady let us order half kg extra and introduced us to soft shell crab which turns out to be reeeally yummy!! kekeke... so.. yeah.. not that bad larr..

Bright and early for dim sum before we proceed for our first movie in 2006!!! went to watched Perhaps Love.... love it! very nice and kudos to HK entertainment for such a beautiful production! its a reallly artistic film with beautiful scenes and songs. well one cannot expect any less from jacky cheung wonderful voice.

New Dawn 2006

this year the church couldnt celebrate new year's eve cos chinese church had their service so we celebrated on the 1st Jan instead! well not bad also... but somehow its different from having new year's eve celebration lar.. the counting down excitement... well...gotta let the chinese have their share of fun too i supposed!

theme of the celebration was 60s, 70s and 80s... very easy theme actually! every cell group was to put up a 2minute show on stage as long as got elements of 60/70/80s! was pretty impressed with everyone's effort. was a fun nite overall!

bias as i am... of course i cant show all the photo, just share with you on some of my fav groups of course! hehe... besides too many to post all and actually the truth is... the photos werent fantastic... yup, taken by yours truly... sigh.. failed assignment indeed... :(

FYI, calvin's apartment is pretty near to the curves, however the view from his unit is.. urm.. more units! no view of whatsoever fireoworks.. thus explained why we had to ruuuun all the way to the ground floor towards the curve area to catch a glimpse of the fireworks! reeeally adds to our new year mood man!! YAY!! HAPPY 2006!!!
