Adios to Joanne's singlehood!

That's it to Joanne's singlehood! June 18th, the day that marks the end of her singlehood... but also marks the exciting new beggining of her life with her beloved... lucky man, Joshua! I am feeling so excited even as i am writing this. Dont know why... guess i'm just feeling so happy and sentimental over one of close peers who got married! Joanne has always been a great friend. One who never fail to make me feel loved and blessed. Everyone who's been to my room for a sleepover will notice the beautiful glow in the dark stars covering my ceiling, thats Joanne's hardwork specially put up one by one for me! Jealous ler.. Thats been my constant reminder of how she love and give extravagantly, towards me... as well as to people around her. As the stars glow radiantly each nite to give me such sweet and and warmth feeling, so are her gentleness and kindless that radiates to everyone around her. Joshua, you're a real lucky man to marry this angel! You MUST treat her well!

Okok.. i shant continue lest i get more sentimental! Back to the wedding.. it was a very simple and nice evening... BUT the SC gang stole away the peace and quiteness throughout the whole night! we were SOOO noisy! laughed soooo hard and the tables around us turned their heads towards us so many times. but i think they stopped after a while since they figured that the noise was perpectual the whole nite! HAHAHA! we talked abt mummy's half boiled eye and the cushion i could provide for the eggs, our theme song "negaraku" at genting, each other's "huh" and "killer pointers" etc etc etc.. Sorry, if you could not get what i'm trying to say... after all its family jokes! SC family jokes! :)) Apparently, one of Joanne's friend asked her at the end of the dinner, who is this group of people at "that" table i.e. refering to our table, who were sooo noisy the whole night! Oooopsyy... :p

the photo craze begins even before the wedding started! jane, me, audrey, soo yee, denise and lisa. we have 5 cameras! so you can imagine HOW many photos we took. some same shots with different cameras.. hmm.. we shall consider appointing one official one for the benefit of whoever who helped take photos for us!

we managed to catch joanne for a pic before the banquet begins. joanne looking so stunning!

here comes the bride and groom!! what a great shot! we were placed at the aisle where managed to see them up close and personal during their grand entrace. see how good looking both of them look!

i even had time to capture a back view! joanne's gown was simple and elegant.

the signature food presentation style of Concorde Hotel where the waitress came in a trishaw. not bad.. quite interesting.

the first dish! we were sooo hungry that i think it only take as short as 5 mins to clear the platter!

see see see... already said i wanna take photo of each dish, these greedy impatient hands attacking the "hairy" herb chicken!

this was really funny! the waiter was cutting the fish for us half way when i shouted that i needed to take a picture! he was so shocked and he offered to "decorate" the fish back in one piece for me to capture!! haha.. really funny!

after the wedding dinner and after bidding farewell to mr and mrs joshua, we graciously and considerately left them to continue their "whatever"..... kekekeke ....... we went to Alexis for live jazz music. initially wanted to play taboo (our SC official game!) but we figured we may be kicked out of the bistro by the jazz enthusiast when we start playing with the level of noise we are capable of producing!
