Had lunch at Eest Restaurant @ Westin. Its a Pan-Asian restaurant featuring five distinct cuisines from around Asia i.e. Malaysia, China, Vietnam, Thai & Japanese. Food's awesome and ambience is great too! Bagus... "hen hou".. "ichiban" and err... dont know the other 2 languages! :p
nice deco at the entrance
the interior of Eest
floating champagne deco on a flowing water cubical
looks like "lin ngau" (lotus) right? Hehe.. its another interesting deco in Eest to create a very ethnic kind of ambience
dont freak out, its not ants on some sticks or something! its sesame seeds on some very yummy fried springroll. a Thai delicacy from Eest
fresh cruncy scallop and prawn tim sum, chinese's delicacy of course
needless to say.. Japanese dish.. a verrrry fresh salmon maki with crispy salmon skin rolled together! Hmm.. yummy!
Vietnamese spring roll.. left so few only, cos i was busy eating and forgotten to capture the dish earlier. hehe..
another jap dish, prawn maki
urm.. lemme try to remember.. i think this could be from Malaysia. its fried seafood noodle, Malayisan style i believe... nice!
ok, by now, i'm already drowned by all the delicious food, and couldnt really remember which country this dish is from! Its a very nice spicy stir fried beef. very appetizing
Ahh.. this is Chinese! or izzit Jap? its cod fish in a very tasty sauce
chinese yee mee... it may not look as appetizing, but it tasted very good
finally... dessert! even dessert, we were spoiled with varieties! Mango with glutinous rice from Thailand, water chesnut ice.. apparently a recipe that the manager learnt from China and simple looking vanila ice cream but it was reeeeally creamy and yummy!
