No monkey training!

yawn...... yup that was how i started my saturday morning when i dragged myself out of bed at 8am (earlier than on my working days!) to attend an in-house training by my executive chairman, Mr Chuah. what made it difficult was i only slept around 3.30am! was finishing some work for papamama nite. the training is scheduled to be from 9am till 3.30pm. however given an efficient teacher and a bunch of co-operative good students... hehe.. we finished by 12.3o, had lunch and off we go by about 2pm.

the training was very good and light hearted. we even had workshops which was interactive and entertaining too. we had it at Screaming Banana. we booked its upstairs which they turned the whole cafe setting into a classroom set up for our training. the topic of our training is called the theory of completed staff work (csw). taught on how each of us should think and work with one another so that we can maximise our potentials, giftings and resources. the key messge, dont be a monkey on each other's back! imagine having a real life monkey behind our backs, metaphorically speaking of course. anything that distracts, distort our plans, slow us down or cause haywires etc etc.. are monkeys on our backs! in order to get rid of these "monkeys" we need to think, organise by asking all possible questions. its all about asking and answering questions, questions and more questions!

monkeys having some coffee break! oops.. i mean my colleagues having a coffee break!
