decided to be a good daughter to take my mum to vietnam kitchen in USJ 9, subang jaya for tim sum. opened by a friend of hers who have been asking my mum numerous times to patronize.
what caught my attention was the table opposite us. there were 4 persons. 2 small girls, a mum and a grandmother. the grandma is pretty old. she settled down first. then i saw the mum trying to persuade the girls to sit next to their granny but both of them refused repeatedly. kept shaking their heads and sticking to their mum. i felt so sorry for the granny who just sat there looking rejected. i was so tempted to get up and go over to tell them off! such brats! sigh, guess they are just too young and didnt know how to appreciate their grannies when they are still around. people usually dont know how much they miss another person until they've lost them.. all of a sudden i miss my grandmother and wish she is still around. of course my grandpa too. it will be such great pleasure to be able to bring them for a nice tim sum meal...

my mum checking out the menu. looks like she's having a hard time reading it
food's not bad. very fresh and tasty. i especially like the scallops tim sum and the fried taufoo. we ordered the wrong tea though. the waitress claimed that its green tea but it was suuuuper bitter! yucks.
