PapaMama Nite 2005

We organised a PapaMama nite at Victorian ballroom, Holiday Villa. its to celebrate both father and mother's day. great crowd, 43 tables compared to 35 tables 2 years ago. ballroom was really packed. food was pretty good. one of the highlight was, again the family photo taking. 2 years ago, we did the same thing, but we used polaroid cameras. this year we used digital cameras and immediately load them into the notebooks and print them directly. photo quality was much much better than polaroid. it was a very high tech set up where guest were really impressed. :) Quite a handful of the guest came to the printing station to ask how much they need to pay! Haha.. Of course it was complimentary. part of our generous gesture for every guest of the night!

Papamama! my fav baby kristen with her parents, francis and siew ling. check out her ribbon, oohhh.. so cute!

Wooi Keat & her fans

the poser!

the team. wood is missing though. me in charged of the printing, wooi keat the delivery girl who has to recognise every single one so that she can deliver the photos to the respective tables; janice who helped with cutting and slotting the photos into the card holder and fiona the chief photographer. wood aka kar sum was the backup photographer and he helped alot by running some little errands for us! :)

the grumpy me! one of the printer decided to go on strike and caused a "traffic jam" in the printing process. so basically i was having that "dont talk to me, i'm trying to concentrate look" the whole night. trying my best to cope with the countless photos to print.

inside the ballroom. hmm.. is auntie grace (middle) concentrating or is she thinking of something so intensely?

david chiang and his team presenting a few songs before he started sharing his message

fiona the photographer who worked superly hard that nite. everyone was very pleased with their family potrait taken by her

our dinner! because of the over whelming response at our photo taking station, we didnt manage to eat during the event.
