Back in action!
Yeahh... finally got back my camera! Well, it was quite a story on how i finally got it back... but decided that i shud rest my case and not talk about it anymore larr... afterall, most importantly is that i got it back at last! yahoo!!

Why didnt I update my blog.....
To allllllllll my FANS out there.... kekekeke... yes yes... i can almost see the disappointed look on your face when you visit my blog past few days… Izzit I’ve been thaaaaat busy that I have no time to update my blog? Answer… NO! Yes busy I have been… but time I will always have... to update my blog! The reason is… my camera is BROKEN!! Yup… my baby canon ixus 40’s LCD is broken!! Cant see a single thing on the screen… no picture, cannot use at all!!! Waaaaaahhhhhh….. *sniff*sniff*….
What happened is my dear friend wooi keat took it to pangkor last week and one of her colleague needed to shoot something… unfortunately she fell and knocked my camera on the ground… ouch! Anyway, she felt reeeally bad about it. I wish I could tell her don’t worry about it… I will just get a new one! Hahaha… But of course, I cant afford it! She is very responsible… she will buy me a totally NEW one! Same one of course! So yeah… accident as such happens… as the old saying goes… “no use crying over spilled milk!” Just replace it! Asked if I will lend out my camera again? Answer is.. why not! So long its to responsible people like wooi keat's friend! hehe..

Double Father's Day @ Ampang Western Food
decided to invite my uncle and family who is my neighbour, to have father's day dinner together. so he suggested to go alllll the way to Ampang for western food. one of our family's favourite makan place when it comes to western food!

salmon steak which apparently tasted very good. but for me, i think it looked abit overcooked.
my delicious sizzling sirloin steak! very generous cut. not too bad for a hawker stall standard. well after all there were MANY westerners at this stall. the stall has been operating since donkey years! very crowded
my mum obviously enjoying her chicken chop with black pepper sauce which she claimed the best ever she tried... oh well.. at least to her strd! :p

tea time, had the sinful classic chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream at Delicious, Ms Read
love at first BAG!! yup! finally got my bag! love it! its a Crumpler. Bought it at Apple Centre, 1U. RM199... Very good quality, supposedly made outta some hyper performance fabric which means its very durable, tearproof, dry up very quickly and the straps and buckles are airline strength! Had a few choices, finally chose this which is more "mel-type". not too formal and ladylike, yet not too sporty! perfect blend for my casual and work purposes! yahoo! :))

Adios to Joanne's singlehood!
That's it to Joanne's singlehood! June 18th, the day that marks the end of her singlehood... but also marks the exciting new beggining of her life with her beloved... lucky man, Joshua! I am feeling so excited even as i am writing this. Dont know why... guess i'm just feeling so happy and sentimental over one of close peers who got married! Joanne has always been a great friend. One who never fail to make me feel loved and blessed. Everyone who's been to my room for a sleepover will notice the beautiful glow in the dark stars covering my ceiling, thats Joanne's hardwork specially put up one by one for me! Jealous ler.. Thats been my constant reminder of how she love and give extravagantly, towards me... as well as to people around her. As the stars glow radiantly each nite to give me such sweet and and warmth feeling, so are her gentleness and kindless that radiates to everyone around her. Joshua, you're a real lucky man to marry this angel! You MUST treat her well!
Okok.. i shant continue lest i get more sentimental! Back to the wedding.. it was a very simple and nice evening... BUT the SC gang stole away the peace and quiteness throughout the whole night! we were SOOO noisy! laughed soooo hard and the tables around us turned their heads towards us so many times. but i think they stopped after a while since they figured that the noise was perpectual the whole nite! HAHAHA! we talked abt mummy's half boiled eye and the cushion i could provide for the eggs, our theme song "negaraku" at genting, each other's "huh" and "killer pointers" etc etc etc.. Sorry, if you could not get what i'm trying to say... after all its family jokes! SC family jokes! :)) Apparently, one of Joanne's friend asked her at the end of the dinner, who is this group of people at "that" table i.e. refering to our table, who were sooo noisy the whole night! Oooopsyy... :p
thats the sign at the car park. another joanne's wedding!! hope no one went to the wrong wedding! haha.
the photo craze begins even before the wedding started! jane, me, audrey, soo yee, denise and lisa. we have 5 cameras! so you can imagine HOW many photos we took. some same shots with different cameras.. hmm.. we shall consider appointing one official one for the benefit of whoever who helped take photos for us!
we managed to catch joanne for a pic before the banquet begins. joanne looking so stunning!

i even had time to capture a back view! joanne's gown was simple and elegant.
the signature food presentation style of Concorde Hotel where the waitress came in a trishaw. not bad.. quite interesting.

the first dish! we were sooo hungry that i think it only take as short as 5 mins to clear the platter!
see see see... already said i wanna take photo of each dish, these greedy impatient hands attacking the "hairy" herb chicken!
this was really funny! the waiter was cutting the fish for us half way when i shouted that i needed to take a picture! he was so shocked and he offered to "decorate" the fish back in one piece for me to capture!! haha.. really funny!

after the wedding dinner and after bidding farewell to mr and mrs joshua, we graciously and considerately left them to continue their "whatever"..... kekekeke ....... we went to Alexis for live jazz music. initially wanted to play taboo (our SC official game!) but we figured we may be kicked out of the bistro by the jazz enthusiast when we start playing with the level of noise we are capable of producing!

sooo tired... the bohsiahs in jalan ampang at 2am in the morning!

Sheraton Langkawi
was in langkawi on 16-18th June for some company funtion. stayed in Sheraton Langkawi Beach Resort. Verrry nice hotel, secluded resort with tropical surroundings, good service and scrumptious never ending meals! food food food and more food! overall, good trip!
arriving at langkawi airport. this is the plane we took. langkawi airport has improved tremendously since the last time i was there
our airport transfer bus. what a "lucky" number plate!
me and my colleague's room. i had to sleep in the extra bed which was not too bad. very nice room...
i like the toilet. open toilet concept! of course we kept it close, what do you think, 3 gals in a room! nothing kinky! haha
had BBQ on the first nite.. verrry good spread!
dont be deceived by the not very nice presentation of the food, after all its buffet, so who cares abt presentation on the plate! but it tasted fantastic! the steak was goooood... sooo goood... so is the lamb and the cuttle fish and the salmon and the chicken and etc etc etc!
one of the lunch was at Caption's Grill, a sea front restaurant with a fantastic view and of course... yummy food spread again!!
the view at the beach...
had our last dinner at Barn Thai, 45 mins drive from our resort. set deep within the mangroves of Langkawi. the only restaurant of its kind in the world. we had to take a 450 metre long wooden walkway to reach into the restaurant. food pretty good. i like the tom yam soup!
last day = shopping day!
home sweet home... plane ready for landing back to KLIA

F4 @ Planet Hollywood
ok.. no need to get dissapointed that its not the handsome hunks F4 from Taiwan! F4 which stands for Fantastic Four is the name given to the me and my 3 girlfrens from HP. we were at a company event and 4 of us participated in a "battle of the band imitation", thats when we name our band the Fantastic Four! what happened was the MC played a rock song and we had to lip sync and rock along with the song... with our "instruments" i.e. a mop and broom as guitars, toilet brush and pail as drumstick and drumset and baby bottle as the mic! it was reeeally an unforgettable FUN event we did together. did i mention we were the champion in the competition! hahaha
anyway, had dinner with the darling gals at planet hollywood to celebrate a super belated birthday of li ching. there's this 50% on selected F&B using southern bank credit card. i was super duper late cos had to complete my work before going langkawi the next day. the gracious 3 patiently waited for me but of course kena left right centre from them when i arrived! in a loving way of course! :p
li ching aka auntie. yup, thats what the 3 of us call her all this time cos she reeeeally act as one! but thats a great benefit to us cos she is always at a look out for the best makan deals around, negotiate the cheapest holidays cum arranging and reminding us of the entire holiday plans for us! what an awesome aunt we have! cheer auntie li ching!!
